Mike is the owner and acupuncturist at EVOLVE Acupuncture and has been in practice since June 2011.  EVOLVE Acupuncture opened in May 2015. 

Dr. Mike Tocco, DACM is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Registered Nurse. He has over 8 years of hospital-based acupuncture experience where he worked in Integrative Medicine at Beaumont Hospital. Acupuncture you can trust! Mike is adept at treating complex medical conditions with acupuncture and Chinese herbs.  The Ferndale clinic is warm, inviting and ADA accessible with easy parking.   

Mike holds the following licenses and degrees:

• Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM - 2016) 
• Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM - 2011)
• Licensed Acupuncturist (LAc) - State of Michigan & California
• Registered Nurse (RN) - State of Michigan
• Diplomat in Oriental Medicine (Dipl. OM) recognized by NCCAOM

Chinese medicine education involves more than 3,000 hours of didactic and clinical training in Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and advanced Western medicine study in physiology and anatomy, physical exam and orthopedic evaluation.  Additional training in adjunctive healing modalities - cupping, guasha, tai chi and qi gong and nutrition.
