Fertility Support & Women's Health
Acupuncture and Chinese medicine truly excel at supporting women's health especially when it comes to fertility support! Chinese medicine can help a variety of women’s health conditions including irregular menstrual cycles, difficult menopausal symptoms, PCOS and trying to conceive naturally or with assisted reproductive therapies (ART).
Acupuncture is a safe, gentle and effective approach to strengthen your body by treating the underlying root cause of reproductive issues. By gently re-establishing the natural flow inherent in a woman’s cycle, acupuncture treatments over a period of time can address any stage of a woman’s life to achieve optimal health and balance.
Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine are complementary when used in conjunction with western medical treatments such as in-vitro fertilization (IVF). Acupuncture treatments can greatly increase the likelihood of successful pregnancies. Whether you're just starting to plan for a family or working with your OB or other reproductive specialist, acupuncture and Chinese medicine are supportive adjunct services that can be safely added to any of your fertility treatments.
Our treatment approach at EVOLVE Acupuncture & Wellness is to help improve patient response by promoting a calm, stress-free environment to optimize the body's ability for a successful, full-term pregnancy. We recommend beginning acupuncture treatments as soon as possible due to the cumulative effects acupuncture has in preparing the body for pregnancy. Initially, most patients choose to come in weekly for 2-3 cycles to start.
